I just switched over all of my stuff to a new (and hopefully stable) server....so I hope everything stays up.

Nothing to report today. Just listening the Bizzy Bone's new LP: Alpha and Omega. Good stuff here.

Boring week. Just listening to Royce Da 5'9's and Kenoe's latest albums. Good stuff.

Yawns. Nothing much. Just hoping Hurricane Ivan stays west of us.

Frances is almost over and I am glad none too soon. Damage was great but not devastating...so I will be on my feet by tomorrow. Up next: Ivan.

Well, there is another hurricane in our sights. God, I hope we get through this one okay. Will report back in a day or so.

Nothing important in this post. Just listening to Jim Jones new CD.

Nothing has been going on this past week. Just posting out of habit, I guess.

Plug of the day: File Mirrors

It's a webiste that offers fast mirrors to popular links and programs. One of the top non-commercial websites out there and a great resource. 5 *'s

Man, I just listened to Kiley Dean's pre-album, Simple Girl and it is bananas. That girl has so much potential it's not funny. Her label needs to release her because as talented as Timbaland is, he's not doing anything with her. She could easily be the top female vocalist right now if they marketed her right but I guess they are too busy? She has the range of a Whitney and the versatility of a Celine. She just has it. I hope her CD does come out this year because she is something special. Be on the lookout for Ms. Dean.

Plug of the day: Azureus Bit-torrent client

Versatile client that handles all types of plugins, including Peer Guardian. I think it is the premier client but there are some others out there that do the job as well as AZ. Overall 4.5 *'s

Clearly that link I posted is the truth. HS exit tests are pointless and are useless. Being a product of the O-so-great US educational system, I can tell you HS students are getting their money's worth. It's sad how we (the US) are failing our future by not acting in the present. Other tech saavy countries will soon overtake (Japan already have) us and we will end up like Canada ;)

On a better note, the app of the day is Gaim.

Gaim is an open source, all-in-one Instant messenger client that is like Trillian but is much more secure and stable. Can support AIM, Yahoo, MSN, IRC, and ICQ. 5 *'s

High School Tests are Bad

Man, I was so exhausted from all of the work I had to do yesterday (cleaning up storm dedris and helping other people fix stuff) that I forgot to post. O well...

Man Charley really did a number on where I live but I know we will pull through.

App of the day: HTML-Kit

An overall awesom HTML editor and creator that is useful for beginners as well as comprehensive for the HTML master. 5 *'s

So it seems my Website is html standard compliant by W3's site.

I had to say to it was hard but that now everything renders properly. The 'errors' that my site might have is not the original html but my server's horrible Ads. The html is perfect though so I am proud of that. I even notice how many big sites don't even have a doctype in their pages and it really makes me sad. The only site other than W3 that I have seen compliant is Mozilla.

Oh well, maybe someday...
