First and foremost, my prayers go out to the many that lost their lives in south-asia this past week. A terrible tragedy that will not be forgotton.

On a happier note, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is getting exited for a New Year. Be careful out there and have a good weekend.

Artist of the Day: Elisa

She is Italy's best kept secret IMO and she really can sing. Her CDs are a bit expensive but if you can get them, they are excellent. She brings a fresh breath into the world of pop that I wish our US singers could do. To top it off, her actually writes her own songs. I haven't been this excited over an artist (of this genre) since Sarah McLachlan.

For the millionth time people, What doesn't check is the forced ad banner that coolgoose runs on all of their pages. If you want the direct html I can happily post it as a txt file so you can validate it yourself. That being said, I am going back to sleep.

Boring week. Just listening to Royce Da 5'9's and Kenoe's latest albums. Good stuff.

Yawns. Nothing much. Just hoping Hurricane Ivan stays west of us.

Frances is almost over and I am glad none too soon. Damage was great but not devastating...so I will be on my feet by tomorrow. Up next: Ivan.

Well, there is another hurricane in our sights. God, I hope we get through this one okay. Will report back in a day or so.
